Submitting the application
People may send or lodge their applications (including any attachments) by any of the methods below.
Via ATLAS+
Panel members who have registered to use ATLAS+ can use this web-based application to submit and track applications for grants of legal assistance, extensions and invoices online. See VLA’s website for more information about ATLAS+.
By post
The person applying or their lawyer (if any) must send the completed application form and any necessary attachments to:

Hand delivery
The person applying or their lawyer (if any) must deliver the completed application form and any necessary attachments to:

Or to their nearest VLA office.
By fax
The person applying or their lawyer (if any) must fax the completed application form and any necessary attachments to (03) 9269 0250.
If the person or their lawyer (if any) faxes the application to VLA, then they must keep:
- the original application form
- the originals (if any) or the copies of any attachments.
