Counsel’s fees – independent children’s lawyer
The table below shows fees payable to counsel in the Family Court and Federal Magistrates Court. This fee schedule is effective from 1 November 2011.

| Conference (3 hours maximum) | $192 per hour, up to $576 |
| Daily fee | $1358 |
| Take judgment | $192 |
Counsel’s fees are only payable at Stages 1(c) and 2 otherwise counsel’s fees are to be paid out of the lump sum. Counsel’s fees are not payable where a matter is in the list but not reached.
Conference fees are not payable in Stage 1(c) matters.
