Table G sets out the standard rate fees payable by Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) in sentence appeals in the County Court.
These fees are effective from 1 October 2011. For fees payable in matters prior to this date see Costs payable in criminal law matters in the VLA Handbook (September 2011).
The fees contained in this fee schedule are lump sum fees and are GST inclusive.

These fees are claimed using the Appeals – tables G, H, K, K(i), K(ii) and L tax invoice.
In County Court appeals, VLA may limit the number of days for which it may make a grant of legal assistance.
Except where counsel or solicitor advocate practices in the circuit town or a surrounding township, circuit fees in accordance with Table NN are payable.
Where counsel is briefed in a County Court appeal against sentence, the brief fee in Table G is the fee which must be paid to counsel.
