How to apply
VLA uses ATLAS, an electronic grants system to manage grants of assistance. If a person is applying for a grant of legal assistance with the assistance of a lawyer, the lawyer must submit the application in ATLAS. Lawyers can access ATLAS here.
VLA has a paper application form that can be used by people who are applying directly to VLA for a grant of legal assistance (that is, without the help of a lawyer).

The application form can be accessed here or at any VLA office or community legal centre.
