Table MM – Lump sum and other fees for criminal appeals in the High Court prior to 18 January 2011
Table MM sets out the fees payable by VLA for criminal appeals in the High Court.
These fees are claimed using the High Court special leave and appeal – Table MM tax invoice.

Additional fees
VLA will allow additional claims:
- as set out in Table MM
- for fees for additional preparation by counsel in accordance with Fee Schedule 4, up to a maximum amount of $2255.
However, if VLA has previously made a grant of assistance for an application for special leave, then the assisted person must seek specific approval for a grant to appeal to the High Court.
