Table N – Lump sum fees for coronial inquests

Table N sets out the lump sum fees Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) will pay for a coronial inquest (civil).

These fees are effective from 1 January 2016. For fees payable prior to this see Archived versions of the Handbook.

Service/proceedings Fee payable
The lump sum preparation fee covers the work involved in:
  • taking instructions
  • preparing and reading documents

Practitioners can claim these fees using ATLAS or submitting a tax invoice.
