Fee Schedule 4 – Counsel’s fees in criminal trials
This fee schedule is effective from 1 January 2015.
Note: Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) does not pay counsel’s accounts direct. The assigned lawyer is responsible for lodging, administering and paying counsel’s accounts and should ensure that all accounts are settled before closing and finalising the file and the grant.
