Tax invoice

Practitioners who do not use ATLAS should complete a Tax invoice (pdf, 21.69 KB) for all claims. The fees outlined in Payments to lawyers and service providers.

The Grants of legal assistance – guide and application form (pdf, 519.54 KB) is for clients making an application for a grant of legal assistance without a lawyer.

If a person is applying for a grant of assistance with the assistance of a lawyer, the lawyer must submit the application in ATLAS.

Financial statement (pdf, 103.19 KB) – to be completed to update an applicant's or grant recipient's financial details
Recipient-created tax invoice agreement (doc, 55 KB) – to be completed and signed by practitioners submitting applications, requests for extensions of assistance or request for payment to Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) using electronic lodgement
Centrelink consent and authority form (doc, 201 KB) – to be completed by applicant to give VLA consent to confirm their Centrelink status
